Yep. and those who would actually benefit won't see any of those benefits, if at all until Drumpf is gone.

I believe I had that about a year ago.....Hillary was unelectable....nobody liked her and when she called Trump supporters "'Deplorables', that was the end.
that said, around here, I met maybe 5 people that actually admited they were going t to vote for Trump....This area was in the bag for Hillary.
Amazing....one thing you cant disagree with is Trump gave America and the world, great TV.....now on to the hard part.
At least pot was leagized in California!

Yea, but with the Republicans in charge of everything, that shit's going to stop!
It's adorable that you think the feds under Trump (the one thing he's ever told the truth about is that he's serious about being anti-alcohol, tobacco, and drugs) are going to let that go.
Since I don't partake myself, that's the one thing about the coming Reich that I look forward to, so that I can see BotanyBoy's tantrum when the crackdowns get going. Not that Obama has been anything special re the ridiculous War on Drugs, but we're going to a new level.

But Trump is for State's Rights, right?
WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!! Now those who told us they would leave, Please do so ASAP!!
But Trump is for State's Rights, right? either way, I dont care.

Republicans are only for states rights when it lands in favor of what they want done. Don't get me wrong Dems are essentially the same way only they don't generally pretend to like state rights but there is no questiont he drug war continues. Will he maybe be lax? We'll have to wait and see but I wouldn't count on it.
How about another Civil War, except make it more like the English one?
RoryN and a lot of other people were very confident things would be different. I thought she was going to win looking at all the polls (I did not think she would win by a lot, though, considering the massive baggage). What really surprised me and even GOP operatives was the rust belt. It was a wild night, folks.
I wish the best for Trump and his new administration. Really.
Looking back, I remember all the gloating when Obama won. The tables are turned now. That part is interesting to me as well.
You're wrong about the fact that conservatives don't mind federal government overreach when it suits them. Best example that is Heller Decision which I love of course however it's wrong if Washington DC wants to have gun control the federal government can't say anything about it.
Liberals got bit on the ass like misconstruing on purpose the incorporation Clause to suggest that suddenly the Federal Government Can conjoined States from doing things that the federal government cannot do just because the federal government cannot do something does not mean a state cannot.
Trump is so conservative and he has no libertarian but he is a businessman and if you looked at it from Strictly cost-benefit and now it says the drug war is insane. It should be dumped on that basis alone. The problem is he's not a very good businessman actually Romney's a much better businessman but he was entirely too nice
The Rust Belt strategy was what Toubab's thread up here is how Trump could win started. Looks prescient now doesn't it?
As does the poll he cited. I think having the same people you're talking to again and again listen people up so that they were able to be honest with the posters.
I don't see him as the type to Crow about being right but he needs to take a Victory lap.
His poll had Trump winning the popular vote. That appears to be wrong. What part of his poll was correct?

I asked him that last night and he ignored me. And I know he doesn't have me on literal Ignore because it's my thread.
Seems to me a poll that had Clinton winning the popular vote +4 (when it looks like it's going to be +1) is more accurate than a poll which had Trump +3 -- that is, it had the incorrect winner of the popular vote AND was off by a wider margin.
But what do I know? I'm one of those "college voters" who are now being swept out on the tide of history.
