I believe Trump was elected by a majority of people who patriotically believe the Creator endows all mankind with certain inalienable rights that are of no business to any government. I believe Trump was elected by a majority of people who inherently believe abortion of convenience is the intentional killing of innocent human life. Those are two very strong stances that allow no room for compromise.

I also believe most of the other voters who voted yesterday don't care for those strong stances figuratively at all. They believe in government over individual liberty and believe abortion is a right of every woman.

Certainly, there is no possible voluntary bridge to span those uncompromising divides, so such old time unity is surely just as unlikely.

And when anyone speaks of political violence erupting in this country, it's probably wise that they should always keep clearly in mind who possesses virtually all of the private arms in it. Do not feed the Eagle and the Eagle will not feed on you.
