The 2016 Presidential Election Results Thread

Most have Trump currently with 244 electoral votes and Clinton with 215.

Trump is leading as these 4 states

PA = 20 electoral votes
MI = 16 electoral votes
AZ = 11 electoral votes
WI = 10 electoral votes

That's 57 votes.

244 + 57 = 301 electoral votes

Aint over till da fat lady be singing.....beeeeeeeeeeeeacth

It's over, folks. With 98% reporting in PA, Trump has increased his lead to 60K+ votes, a full % point over Clinton. That would put him at 264 electoral votes, with only 6 needed to win.

It's over, folks.

Hillarity has the same chance at the end of the night that The Donald had at the beginning.

It's not over yet, but the fat lady is warming up in the wings.

PBS' Judy Woodruff solemnly just announced that Trump has won PA's 20 electoral votes, giving him 264.

They did that because Trump's lead in PA is still growing with 99% reporting - now approaching 1.5%.

WI - 89% = Trump 49% | Clinton 45.8% - 10 electoral votes
MI - 85% = Trump 48.3% | Clinton 46.6% - 16 electoral votes
AZ - 66% = Trump 49.3% | Clinton 45.7% - 11 electoral votes

It's over, folks.

The great state of Wisconsin's 10 electoral votes will be unofficially announced by the media as putting Trump over the needed 270 mark.

With 84% of American precincts reporting, Trump leads Clinton 48%-47%, 56,112,245 - 54,859,436 - a difference of just 1,252,809 votes out of nearly 111 million votes.

SKY News in England is breaking it down this way:

Trump votes by race:

White = 58%
Hispanic = 29%
Asian = 29%
Black = 8%

FOX has already called Wisconsin for Trump, but haven't yet called Pennsylvania for Trump, while almost all other major news outlets have called Pennsylvania for Trump but not yet Wisconsin (where Trump is leading with 98%, 49%-47%, and that's almost a 100,000 vote difference.

Meanwhile, Judy Woodruff reports PBS has called Alaska's 3 electoral votes for Trump, giving him 269 now, just 1 short.

John Podesta just told all of Clinton's gathered backer to go home (evidently they had to be out by 2am to make way for a big convention starting tomorrow).

Woodruff also reported that Trump is now on his way to address his supporters, which should happen within minutes.

Why don't you and the other haters just leave?

For a much better more progressive place? :confused:

Hell even Utah was a landslide for Trump, so much for the Mormon candidate that EVERYONE thought would win the state.

And Hillarity is doing what I always said she would...everything that everybody says of Donald Trump, Hillary has actually done. Now she's refusing to concede defeat, and now that's she's done using her sycophants and has no more use for them she sends down Podesta to tell them to go home.

Now is the time of hope & change.

It's Wednesday, 2:35 am Eastern Time in America, and the AP and PBS have both just called Wisconsin for Trump, putting him over the 270 electoral votes needs (279), with Judy Woodruff of PBS announcing him as the next President of the United States.President-elect Donald J. Trump is addressing his supporters:

Why exactly is it a "sad day", and how is the traditional union between the US & UK moving backwards?

This Canadian is actually curious about your thoughts.

CNN is reporting Clinton has called Trump to concede.
Presumably her health prevented her from staying awake any longer.

It's Wednesday, 2:42 am Eastern Time in America, and PBS is reporting that Hillary Clinton has called Donald J. Trump to concede.

A sad day for America and the world.

Congratulations to you Trump supporters. I hope none of us come to regret this too badly.

Pollsters are going to have to have a good look at their methodologies.
