Opinion about phone sex

This is another example of how far we've fallen. 150 years ago people just would not have phone sex, period.

All jokes aside, phone sex serves a purpose (just like skype, cyber, whatever). It can help build or strengthen a relationship. After Hurricane Katrina my then-boyfriend was in New Orleans for several months for work. It was very tough on our relationship. It's not like I could easily just go and visit him nor was it feasible for him to come home regularly. We made do. We engaged in *gasp* phone sex. Was it my preferred method of intimacy? Nope. But it kept us feeling connected in that respect and even allowed us to discuss things we may not have normally discussed.

Now phone sex with some random person, not my thing. It's that emotional thing, I guess.

Have talked dirty over the phone but would not call that phone sex. More foreplay leading up to a weekend visit from a friend with benefits.

You raise a good point. Phone sex with someone you are actually involved with is a good thing.

Not as good as the real thing...

It with the right partner, it can be good. Recognizing that the mind is the real sex organ, an passionate and imaginative partner can be fun.
