I agree - that is a good question. The last time for me was late last year and I turned down the offer delicately because it was rebound/revenge sex which is always dangerous. A friend of mine had broken up with his girlfriend, but we all still moved in the same circles. One night she made it clear it was a straight-up offer and I politely demurred. She was hot and under other circumstances I would have been happy - but I knew even though they had broken up, they were still talking/fighting/sniping at each and though I would have really like to slide in between her legs - no way was I going to slide into the middle of a fight. See, I do get wise with age.
