The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

Veiled and unveiled both, your artful pose makes this gallery special.

Thank you, gallant glendale!

Awesome, Mara. And done so quickly, too.

I didn't want to fall too far behind with the travels I have planned. Thanks, JRP.

Veiled Female Nude.

This was trickier than I expected.

This is spectacular, Icy! The Goddess, lifted on a cloud of light. BRAVA!!!
∞∞∞

Ladies, I'm seriously in catch-up mode here...

You look really joyful somehow in this pose, Mara, which I love. That hint of a smile, a perfect nipple, the blue of the draping and the light source. Fabulous

I'm so behind, I've devoted the evening to catching up on Lit.

Your comment means a great deal to me, Numi. I'm 'working on joy' -- and I'll be sure to congratulate my joy mentors. Your comments are so thoughtful. You're a treasure.:heart:

And so, here's my attempt. I found it really difficult not to change the shape of the exposed breast with the arm across - my photographer kept saying "You're crushing it!"

Well, that's such a gorgeous shape, we love seeing every curve. Beautiful rendition, Numi.∞∞∞

Lovely lighting, and a lovely woman! :rose:

Thanks for your kind words, Hornblende.

I had to catch up four pages back.

I love the shawl you used here Mara.

I'm working back four pages also. This thread really moves!
Thanks, Lizzie. It's my favorite for versatility because of the very pale blue and white, and the silk scrunched down to a pocket. It's 4x8 feet -- I use it doubled as an airplane blanket [the airlines' are usually too warm for me], and with that much length, there are many possibilities. I wish I could find the artist who made it twelve years ago so I could get another -- or two.

hi! I'm new to this thread. This is so fun!! I love erotic art. I never thought to CREATE erotic art before 0.0

I had to get creative - so I used the sunlight as a veil ;) ok, here goes:

Sunlight Veil by RacyWilde

Welcome! You've made good use of the light here. Lovely.

As Numi pointed out, getting the arm across the chest was difficult. This pose turned out to ne particularly challenging for me. I am not quite sure why. I tried it a couple of times during stolen moments.
While I am still not terribly happy with it, this is my rendition.

Ethereal and lovely.

That is classy and gorgeous. Mmmmm..... times two.

Thank you, sweet Ms. G.

I'm a holiday nerd and Halloween is my favorite as I love creepy stuff so I hope the curator forgives me for junking up the exhibits.

Also thank you to Bela Lugosi, the Daddy of all vampires, for being my partner in crime!

And don't laugh at my hokey pedestal, cardboard is not sturdy to lean on.

I am laughing with glee. And admiration. You know I look forward to holidays so I can follow you around finding your posts, but here you have totally outdone yourself. The fang marks.... Just FABulous!!!
∞∞∞

Beautiful colors and light to go with your heart stopping bod.

Oh my, Jordan. I'm so touched. Thank you.

Lovely! Your plinth looks perfectly sturdy

Isn't illusion wonderful?! ;)

I decided to go for the rear view, hoping for that curved back thing. There wasn't quite enough room behind the table, I think, to get an exaggerated curve, but I'm happy enough with this after a bit of exposure/shadow fiddling ;)

Exquisite, Numi -- such lovely shoulders.:heart:

I agree with Tali about your use of textures. Beautiful!

Thank you Icy! :rose:

It really is, the people here are really fun, I hope you post a lot more!! :rose:

LOL! Thank you, love me some Bela!!

thank you Ms!! :rose:

Oh me too, I love horror too, especially the classics! Thank you!!

Agreed on the classics, especially the old Hammer films horror classics! ;)

If you were looking for the curved back thing, you got nicely--but then you would have the artistically curved thing going for you no matter what point of view.:rose:

Looks like an exotic Polynesian Venus. Very artful way to get that goddess out of the house and into a sexy setting.

Not saying you are an angel, but you look like you are ascending into the heavens. I hope that is the dress code when (!) we all get there.

Lol. 😇

Love this thread. Thanks to all the lovely ladies who have tried to mimic the works of art, they may not succeed, but they are all definitely works of art in their own right. :)

It's a bit of challenging fun.

Oh, wow! (I missed your pic too, sorry about that.)

Love the cutesy hands, the colouring, (and the model ;) ). You look like one of those summertime dreams, or an angel. That's always a classic style.

Thanks RacyWilde.😀

You have a great way with light, Icy! I like the way you took the view from below, a good variation, and a great way to showcase the sculpture's nipples ;)

Thank you Numi.😊

Extremely beautiful. You have a wonderful eye and a gorgeous body.

It may not have been exactly what you wanted, but it is very pretty.

Thank you, Sir, it's always good to have the approval of our esteemed curator

Who needs exaggerated curves? Your artwork always turns out good.

Thank you, Ms G, you're very kind :)

You do the rear view justice perfectly. The curve of your hip is lovely.

Thank you, Icy. I wanted to try one of the non-front views for a change, and there was no way I was doing the 'sticking the tummy out' one

It's such a wonderful rendition, and every bit of it is lovely but I am struck by how pretty your hair is in this one.

Aw, thanks, Lizzie. I'd never wear it like that when I'm out, but I often put it up for photos for some reason. :)

The slope of your shoulder blades into your back is lovely and I love your hair, nicely done!!

Thank you, Tali!

Exquisite, Numi -- such lovely shoulders.:heart:

Thank you, Mara!

'Artistically curved', mmm, I like that! Thank you, Mr G!

I love this! So pop culture. There's lots of humor in it and you are so beautiful. Love the collage effect.

This is an interesting one! I'm wondering if I can do something with a shower head spraying in place of the fountain :D

That's a weird painting, though - her legs are completely different sizes
