And the fact that both Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump got more regular votes than either of the official parties, I really think it is the people against the uni-party. And the natural home for Bernie supporters especially with these emails coming out and how they're going to trick the Bernie supporters and make them think they got something… You know perfectly well, TPP is going to go through supported by Hillary Clinton, a Democrat and Paul Ryan, a Republican. I think you can get the same emails from the elites in my party as we're getting out of the elites in the Democrat Party.

... so says Ann Coulter. I think she makes a GREAT point. More people should think about the fact that the so-called "two party system" is a bunch of bullshit in a lot of ways..

She made the case on Bill Maher this week as well: HERE

The problem with her and Trump and 4est and the rest is that you want to mix in DOMA, god, abortion, the stupid fucing wall, big government control of people, racism and a host of stupid neanderthal shit and/or 13th century Catholicism in with the important stuff that does (or should) bind us together.

we all live in a Matrix anyways, so no need messing with the masterplan bro.

If Ann Coulter made a good point, it would be her first one.

Unless you count that How To Dress To Impress When You Are Skelator youtube tutorial she produced.

Tis a rather toxic brew, yes, of general dis-empowerment.

USA has a structural problem built into the Constitution: winner-take-all elections rather than proportional results. This guarantees two parties will dominate affairs and both will be courted and bribed by the same interests. This, and SCOTUS rulings that corporations are people and cash is speech, means we get the best gov't money can buy.

The second structural problem is fixed terms. We know when the next election is scheduled. The campaigning and fund-raising for the next starts before this one has occurred. Bribes er I mean contributions must be solicited at a steady rate. Whoever raises and spends the most money usually wins. And from whence does that money flow? From deeper pockets than yours or mine, folks.

The system won't be fixed. Those in power see no need for change. Welcome to... the status quo.

The system *could* be patched. *IFF* HRC wins and Dems take the Senate, HRC *could* nominate progressive SCOTUS justices who aren't corporate shills and who *might* overturn some of the more egregious rulings of the Scalia court. But I don't hold my breath. HRC is pwned.

(Note: IFF is logic-talk for If And Only If.)
