If you really want an honest assessment of how a man views women, all you have to do is listen to how hard he goes in the paint when a woman inconveniences him in some fashion. That inconvenience doesn't have to be a tactile impediment to a destination or the receiving of a desired object, it can be something as ephemeral as the perceived aesthetics of her body.

Now, the reverse can be applied also, but contemporary society is fundamentally structured to normalize men going in on women verbally in the negative and saying it's all good. And because patriarchy is giving like that, women absorb this mentality towards other women as well.
