The main time we hear about race is at elections

Most people don't particularly think or care about race most of the time, but its all we hear about every single time there's an election (or when politics is being discussed). Politicians talk about race more than anyone else does.

Anyone find this curious?
 
And its always about blacks and whites, with Latinos thrown in occasionally with blacks as an afterthought.

Unless its about immigration and then its about Hispanics and Asian-Americans but not blacks.
 
It's certainly a line that someone who doesn't want to talk about it might be comfortable in taking. Of course all blacks were born outside the United States, you know. We should see all of their birth certificates.
 
RACE is a special interest industry like religion and frozen veggies.
