The Living Works of Art Challenge II - Female Body Edition

Icy can't be the only model for this pose (although she does it beautifully). JRP is making it easy for me to fiddle with pics to make them fit here (and thanks to Glendale for the fiddling). No sea, no shell, no flowing red hair--just an approximation of the posture.

So happy for glendale and his fiddling with you! Hee! I love the angle of this Ms! Of course you're stunning at any angle!! :rose:

I had some fun with this one! I don't have a giant clam shell handy so I got the next best thing, I found a picture of one and used it as background. It came out pretty good! :)

Oh my god!

I promise you I had a similar idea but I bet you executed it so well.
What a stunning picture

That's just lovely, Icy  Very creative use of the feather boa, and the detail of the feathers against your smooth skin is fantastic.

I'm worried it was tickly, though...

Your skin is just beautiful, Ms G. I adore the placement of your hand. And your hand. And the shadows of the bannister rails.

And I love that you had done this pose already - was it just random? Or do you think you could have been echoing Venus subconsciously?

Whatever. TLDR: gorgeous

Oh, wow...

It's the angles here I like. The angle of your head. That beautiful angle down into and then out of your waist. And the slightly outward angle of your right leg.

Fabulous.

Also, nice shell... ;)

Pretty good is putting it mildly. Love this!
And so admire your editing skills.

Thank you Lizzie! I can't wait to see yours! :rose:

I appreciate that Hornblende, thank you!

Aww shucks, thank you Mara!! :rose:
TALENT MAKES DIFFERENCE.
Is there talent in clicking 'add to background'? ;)
Ladies you are all quite beautiful and your renderings are stunning!
:rose:

Waiting on you Lovely!! :rose:

I love the processes that you used. And your pose is lovely too.

Nice one Icy, when i saw what we had to do I looked for a feather boa, :D

Great minds think alike.😀

Thanks numeniusa. It was a risk that I didn't mind taking.;)

Oh I don't know how I missed this thread, I hope you don't mind me looking in.:)

No sea, no shell, no flowing red hair, and no clothes--just perfect, says this fiddler.

Excellent art design, but that would mean nothing without the lovely body to finish the picture.:rose:

Like Icy, I too enjoyed this one more than the last. It felt like a much more natural pose. Wigs would have been fun to play with in this pose, but the long hair is in the other house. So a fall of silk will have to do for this watery Venus.

The silk and the pose give this pic a classically theatrical look. I'd love to see your art in the museum or on the stage.:rose:

The birth of Venus as interpreted by me.

If we had more interpreters like you at the UN I bet our world geopolitical landscape would be much more relaxed. The individual members might be just the opposite but the world would be a happier place. ;)

Were you thanking him for fiddling with the pic or something else?!? You approximate very well Ms G. So much so that you could convince me Pi was really 4 (or at least for me ).

You had fun Tali and we had...more than fun. :D Actually, the next best thing after no giant shell is a shrink ray so that you can use a normal shell. The picture is a solid third choice (and available in places other than secret government labs). Fabulous shot Tali! :rose:

Well speaking for myself Mara, I enjoyed both of them equally. :D Well all four if we count yours and Icy's. I can't help but thinking you're showing us Venus walking the Earth as a gypsy. Great shot. It's always a pleasure when the 2.0s make an appearance.

Cheers

So you are saying you already had this shot? That's pretty funny . . . no, not the picture . . . it's not funny, it's beautiful. It is just amazing how well it fits. Thanks so much.

and hopefully this will kick start the other ladies.

Yes, it's a shot from before, and I'm glad you like it.

Thank you, MsG.

It's a lovely Venus rendition. You don't need all the extras.

Also I hope you enjoyed the fiddling.;) lol

Thanks, and fiddling is always fun.

Lovely rendition MsG.

You're sweet to say so.

Beautiful :rose:

Thanks.

...and what lovely posture it is! That's a beautiful picture of a delightful body, MsG! :rose:

Thank you for looking and liking.

MsGlendale . . . . . Gorgeous rendition!!! Love it!!!

You are too kind.

So happy for glendale and his fiddling with you! Hee! I love the angle of this Ms! Of course you're stunning at any angle!! :rose:

I think you exaggerate, but thanks. And I love the way your body stands out so beautifully in the colorful background you fiddled with.

Your skin is just beautiful, Ms G. I adore the placement of your hand. And your hand. And the shadows of the bannister rails.

And I love that you had done this pose already - was it just random? Or do you think you could have been echoing Venus subconsciously?

Hand and hand, you're sweet to be such a closely observing art critic. If I was channeling Venus, I forgot the hair. And I love your pose and no hand in the one spot.

And quite a fine one at that! Perfect, MsG. :rose::kiss:

Always good to hear your encouragement and then feeling mmmmmmm....

Were you thanking him for fiddling with the pic or something else?!? You approximate very well Ms G. So much so that you could convince me Pi was really 4 (or at least for me ).

Cheers

Thanks, and GD can fiddle in many ways. BTW, Pi is 4 Thanksgiving dessert.

Ladies you are all quite beautiful and your renderings are stunning!
:rose:

I remember the bad experience you had with pics, so I'm thinking you won't be joining in here. Still, I can wish... And meanwhile, having you around again is a treat in itself.

Silky and sexy, Mara, I can tell you're enjoying yourself! :rose:

I was! Enjoyed thinking of late 19th/early 20th century propensity for Tableau. House parties and costumes. I have a thing for silk shawls and that blue one is my largest. Useful...

Great job, Mara. Glad you could join us again. Silk does the job well.

I must confess my first thought was "Full Frontal? No way!" Thank goodness Icy broke the ice with her boa.

The silk looks lovely as a hair substitute.
And wigs would have been fun too.

Thanks, Icy. And thanks for boldly interpreting with your own pic. I guess I needed "permission" not to be too literal emulating the pose. Now I'm feeling free to interpret to my heart's content.

The silk and the pose give this pic a classically theatrical look. I'd love to see your art in the museum or on the stage.:rose:

Thanks so much. Classically theatrical was exactly what I was aiming for, specifically tableaux at turn of the century [19th/20th] house parties. I read too many biographies!

Well speaking for myself Mara, I enjoyed both of them equally. :D Well all four if we count yours and Icy's. I can't help but thinking you're showing us Venus walking the Earth as a gypsy. Great shot. It's always a pleasure when the 2.0s make an appearance.

Oh Rogue, there you go again interpreting to YOUR heart's content. I'm speaking of the challenges so far and you turn it into the breasts. And there have been WAY more than four with all the renditions offered here. But you're forgiven because of that gypsy comment. Thank you! It was really fun to do.
