Sort of dumb, LF. She came in second in the Miss Italy contest. Second, runner-up. It's not like she wasn't judged to be in the running with her shape. So, it's really dumb to say competing/winning with a curvy figure will never happen. She came in second in a national beauty contest. Looks like your idea of reality is being challenged with some success.
Sorry about hijacking the thread.
But these pageant shows are often good entertainment.
Interesting…
I was browsing through the pics. of the 40 finalists and three of them were plus-sized girls. 9 out of the 200 finalists were plus sized girls too - see photo attached.
The one on the left - pink bra- is Paola Torrente, the one discussed above.
N.B. - Any way you'd put it, the one in black on the extreme right would have looked too big compared to the typical slim contestants.

First off, figure out right from left. The pink bra us right, the black bra is left.
Second, the two girls on the ends are about 6 plus inches taller than the others. Of course they are bigger! But they still look well proportioned to me. Healthy but not overweight.
I don't agree with these contests anyway, because "beauty" is too subjective.
It ain't all looks, there are talent and intelligence parts to the contests as well

Quote the post in which I said this; let's see which one is the "dumb" one.
I didn't quote you (oh, dumb one). I extropolated from your response to another poster's statement that the woman wasn't too fat to be in a beauty contest (which is obvious, since not only was she in a beauty contest, but she came in second).
Your response was:
"Stop trying to change reality ad accept it. Your proposed changes will never happen."
It did happen. To say it would never happen is dumb when it did happen--she came in second in a national-level beauty contest. It's happening. You continue your dumbness as recently as your last post.
You hit the quote and called me dumb for saying something I never said. You could simply clarify but instead think you can blindly attack as though what you just did isn't visible to all. Allll because my opinion differs than yours, you crybaby bitch.
You are a straight up fucking moron.
Honestly, who watches beauty pageants nowadays?
I think the last time I watched Miss America was when they had the deaf girl competing, sometime in the 1990s? And that was only for the novelty value.
Why? Because you posted that something that never would happen but it actually happened? Beauty is fleeting, darling, but dumb like you did on this thread is forever.![]()

Before LF cuts in to say a deaf woman couldn't win a beauty pageant, I'll note that the deaf girl won, in 1995.
(But, no, I don't watch beauty pageants anymore, either. Stopped probably back in the 1970s.)
