Here's How Donald Trump Could Become President

So you like the third debater / Candy Crowly model?

Shocking.

In an actual debate, a moderator is not allowed to point out lies, inconsistencies or any other subjective judgement; they simply are supposed to keep the candidates to their appointed times, and decide whether a candidate deserves time for rebuttal.

That's strange, because any debate I've ever seen had a moderator who asked questions. Yet you insist all they do is keep track of time.

Candy didn't ask a question, she had a prepared rebuttal because she knew her guy had no answer...

I see Trump has just called for the debates to have no moderators. He's afraid one or more of them will point out his lies as they occur. That's a full time job brother.
A little late for negotiating details, isn't it? He was carping about the conflict with NFL games over a month ago.

All the commentary about presidents in the past with health issues ignores the fact that images of those presidents was carefully managed with the comicity of the press.

Bob Dole was the last potential president that got a little bit of deference. SNL poking fun, and his laughing along gave him a very human quality, but it did not help him look presidential. Since John F Kennedy presidential politics has been beauty pageants.

In TMZ world filled with cellphone video, unflattering images are ubiqutous. Gauzy publicity stills and hiding from the public is not going to work.

David P. Goldman (AKA Spengler) in his recent article, Deplorably, Trump is going to win:

The presidential election was over the moment the word “deplorable” made its run out of Hillary Clinton’s unguarded mouth. As the whole world now knows, Clinton told a Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender fundraiser Sept. 10, “You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the ‘basket of deplorables.’ Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that, and he has lifted them up.”

Hillary is road kill.

She apologized, to be sure, but no-one will believe her: she was chilling with her home audience and feeling the warmth, and she said exactly what she thinks. The “Clinton Cash” corruption scandals, the layers of lies about the email server, health problems, and all the other negatives that pile up against the former first lady are small change compared to this apocalyptic moment of self-revelation.

You can’t win an American presidential election without the deplorables’ vote. Deplorables are America’s biggest minority. They might even be the American majority. They may or not be racist, homophobic and so forth, but they know they’re deplorable. Deplorable, and proud. They’re the median family whose real income has fallen deplorably by 5% in the past ten years, the 35% of adult males who deplorably have dropped out of the labor force, the 40% of student debtors who deplorably aren’t making payments on their loans, the aging state and local government workers whose pension funds are $4 trillion short. They lead deplorable lives and expect that their kids’ lives will be even more deplorable than theirs.

Americans are by and large forgiving people. They’ll forgive Bill for cavorting with Monica “I did not have sex with that woman” Lewinsky in the Oval Office and imposing himself on any number of unwilling females. They might even forgive Hillary for losing tens of thousands of compromising emails on an illegal private server and then repeatedly lying about it in a way that insults the deplorable intelligence of the average voter. But the one thing you can’t do is spit on them and tell them it’s raining. They’ll never forgive you for that. They’re hurting, and they rankle at candidates who rub their faces in it.

There are whispers about replacing Hillary at the top of the D ticket, but one problem with that is early voting is already underway, so replacing Hillary with someone else would virtually guarantee a Trump victory, unless she's replaced very quickly, no matter who the replacement might be.

Oh. You're now the Candidate Whisperer? Fuck outta, 3b00b.

She's not going anywhere.

If she were to die, her supporters would still vote for her.

All of the rumors are most likely the speculations of the vanquished in the Clinton Machine wake...

The message has already been sent to the stenographer pool at CNN, MSNBC and the traditional alphabets and they are trying to normalize her health problems.

Dr. PooKing responds:

I have a dream that one day white girls and white boys will feel free to ridicule black folks, to make a joke of them, to feel unencumbered of any guilt in putting on black face, telling nigger jokes and singing “Mammy." I have a dream that one day, they will belittle me, mock my accomplishments and let the world know that they have overcome equality and reduced me to my proper place, as the butt of their humor. I have a dream that we will reach the bottom of that valley TOGETHER!

She's not going anywhere because early voting has made it virtually impossible, from a practical standpoint, for Hillary to be replaced as the D presidential nominee, no matter what her health or abilities might be. An apparently unforeseen, or underappreciated, consequence of that innovation in the voting process.

Oh dear, what would we do if she died? How foolish were we to start voting early.

We aren't voting for a queen. We vote for electors. They vote their conscience, and we have faith in them.
