How many talk to themselves?

Do a lot of people do that here? I see Bunnyslippers or whatever his original name was doing it all the time. You know, posting a reply to himself. Isn't that just bizarre? Who does that?

Albert Einstein is alleged to have said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting difficult results (or something). Would posting after your own commentary (like some in this thread have done) be a sign of insanity?

And I talk to myself, but it's typically more of an excited utterance such as "where the fuck are my keys this time?" or "I'm not answering your call no matter how many times you call over and over and over again."

I mostly meant here on Lit. As in posting after yourself or worse yet, quoting yourself. I hypothesize that there is a specific segment of the population that is prone to this type of behavior.

i always find it somewhat odd when someone 'likes' their own FB post.

Well, now I want to do it just to see if it feels fun or something......

I find it odd that people like FB
GB wouldn't exist if people didn't talk to themselves
I keep telling myself that

People talk to themselves because each of us is predisposed to sense the world via dominant senses. Auditory people convert experience to sound which then causes feelings and thought.

I'm mostly visual. What I see my brain extracts patterns from, and the patterns cause feelings and thoughts.

Many are kinesthetic, in touch with the world.

Einstein got it wrong. Says me.

Einstein didn't appreciate statistical frequency. Doing the same thing occasionally produces anomalies. Bottomline, refine your methodology to get fewer anomalies.

Does talking to a dog or cat while there are no other humans around count as talking to yourself?
