Do you have cleats/baskets on your bicycle pedals ?

I believe they make a large contribution to strengthening knee muscles 'cause one is continuously using those muscles on both upstrokes and down-strokes.


I was out riding for eight hours the other day. What was sore at the end of the day? My knees. That tells me that that's the area that got the biggest workout.

As I sit here and read the FB messages and think about life in general, it strikes me that she knew and loved the lake for all of her 68 years. But that was how she died. She lived the lake community, yet there she drowned. I don't know what the feeling is, but it's odd. To have something that is such a part of your life, but that very thing becomes the instrument of your death.

That's horrible. We lived on a lake like that. It's not a good thing to see someone lost to a lake.

Maybe he drowned in a lake too? I thought he died in NY though not near Johnny's place.

We have had a lot of rain all at once lately, more so than usual, and some places are getting flash flood where they didn't before.

three times on a main drag off a highway on the way to a mall.
It's evening rush hour and it's raining. Cars are stopped for the light, are stuck in traffic and they find themselves in water. They didn't drive into water and it rose around them and then they must be rescued.
Yesterday, a totally dry day and not at rush hour, I drove through there and notice a yellow warning sign, that would have been standing in water in the above photo, and it reads "Roadway may flood."
 
I'm sitting at probably 1500 to 2000 feet elevation on an absolutely perfect day looking over a wide expanse of grass shaded by trees. I have a book, there's a great l Mexican restaurant just down the street within walking distance, yet I'm stuck sitting next to a 15 year old piece of technology that could easily be replaced by an app on my phone.

I can't. Although when it comes to fruition I will spill on Facebook on my page but it's a good one. My business is taking off and in a big way. Holy fuck!!!!!
