Thank you, they were almost completely flukey, impossible to see the phone screen in the bright sunlight. But I like them too, they'll always remind me of that hotel

Definitely going to come back to Sardinia one day, it's beautiful, charming, sunny, more Italian than I'd expected (given its connection with Spain in history), the food and wine are incredible, and the people warm and friendly. I think we'd been in this village for just two days when the lady at the bakery said "Just pay me tomorrow" rather than accepting a fifty euro note... Wonderful.

'Heteroflexible' seems stronger to me, more like actually bi-sexual, in the sense that someone of either sex could be appealing, which I suppose is the case by case thing you mentioned, a rather lovely thing as you say. I think heteroflexible is a much nicer word, though, because it seems to place less emphasis on the 'sexual', and more on the connection, the bond, the love, regardless of who has which bits.

Any relationship (family, friends, lovers, etc.) should be about the connection. Without it you're building on quicksand. He was a very good guy but everyone didn't get the chance to see the good side of him. I was one of the lucky few and learned to appreciate Warsteiner because of it.

You're right. That umbrella is rubbish. Rubbish. It is only good for posing behind. I think it was free with a handbag, but it's worse than useless. Except for posing behind, it seems.
