Oh gawd. What if swallowing the bug gave me this tummy trouble?? Then I would be!

I can't remember what the lady swallowed after the fly - I only remember perhaps she would die.

It was my son's favorite story though.

And I hope you feel better soon - and do not die from swallowing a fly.

I think it was a spider, a bird, and a cat. My kids loved that one as well.

Fall, college football, high school football, has been rock act concerts (classic rock), cotton candy, fried cheesecake, fried ice cream, fried butter, the auto show, fried candy bars.

how can you not love a state fair?

I would've said the animal exhibits but SMELLS.

Yeah I read your post and I had to put my head between my knees for a bit. Horrific shit.

So, I'm confused. Is it that the idea of dunking a Jaffa cake in coffee or even milk so repulsive to you or any donut in general? A Jaffa cake is a cake with orange and chocolate in it?

The dog alerted me to shenanigans going on in the yard.

Summary: "You can have taxes or you can have jobs, but you can't have both."

From your link:

As responsible corporate citizens, we are also proud of our contributions to local economies across Europe, and to communities everywhere. As our business has grown over the years, we have become the largest taxpayer in Ireland, the largest taxpayer in the United States, and the largest taxpayer in the world.

Taxes for multinational companies are complex, yet a fundamental principle is recognized around the world: A company’s profits should be taxed in the country where the value is created. Apple, Ireland and the United States all agree on this principle.

In Apple’s case, nearly all of our research and development takes place in California, so the vast majority of our profits are taxed in the United States.
European companies doing business in the U.S. are taxed according to the same principle. But the Commission is now calling to retroactively change those rules.

Ugh.
That is nasty.

I said sorry.
