"Nothing, dear."

mancave, garage, painting

The fence painting, which is urgently needed might get done, if only I could drag the whiney self-absorbed overgrown manchild out of the mancave at the back of the garage.

There's as much chance of that happening as of my winnng the lottery and marrying a millionaire the same day.

Ocelot, piano, key

Did you hear about the new ocelot at the zoo? He can learn and play anything you like on a babygrand piano, just as long as it's in the key of C major. Bad news for blues lovers, then, and you can forget most Christmas carols or folk songs too.

The board title does say challenge and you seem to have been up to it. :)

At the local reading center, a key life skill is to learn to read with fluidity, or smoothly with intonation and comprehension. This differs from many schools' focus on fluency which they interpret to mean speed reading. Many students can decode with speed yet have no idea what they read.

The cougar scoffed and waved her hand. “Sometimes you’re the statue, sometimes you’re the pigeon.”

((But I will give y'all a softball for the next one ... so to speak))
