What pissed you off today? Mark II

Being too hot and feeling ill all day.

On a small plus though, Lit is no longer spontaneously logging me out.

Sick here, too. :( Like I'm just too tired to even lift up my noodley arms.

No time for this.

Hope you feel better. And eat better.

I'm making shrimp scampi for the kid tonight.
You are all invited. Except for little different.
Bring wine.

Ooooo that sounds delicious 😋

I'll bring crackers because... tummy  Does wine settle your stomach by any chance?

Why, thank you Con! It's st Nicholas of Bari banishing a storm. It's a painting in the Ashmolean which when I am in Oxford I like to visit, there are a few in there I think of as friends I must drop by to see when I can.

It was actually not planned as an AV, ( I put it in Collars art thread a while ago) but I tried for a face portion yesterday panicked, and put this straight up:eek: as it was the next thing I saw to grab. :D. No thought at all went into it other than sheer panic and get that face off the screen.:D

( you haven't stopped me worrying though)

If you just added sparkle to your face picture, all would be well.

Was shopping, was hungry, had had a long day at work, had filled an entire shopping cart, parked the cart to find some more to put in it, and had hardly left it, before I noticed a weird lady heading straight for it.

Then she started to bloody fiddle with my* groceries!

:eek: -> :mad: -> :devil:

Lady C afterwards made a point of telling me, that threatening people in detail with bodily molestation was not proportional to pilfering stuff from a shopping cart that theoretically could look abandoned or full of "misplaced things the staff has collected".

*I am aware, that they are not legally mine before I've paid for them, but I had developed a certain sense of ownership at that time.

Like George Carlin says.... Hmmm, Mallomars! You haven't paid for it yet. It's still belongs to ALL of us... And if I want to shop out of your cart, then I'll SHOP out of your CART!!!

The nerve of weird strangers! :p
I guess she was lucky Lady C was there!

Got a free gift from some company rep that came to visit me last week: An umbrella. Hung it on my door to grab as I go out.

Went to eat with family today, grabbed it, & opened it as I left building... Takes 2 seconds to open, but an hour to get it to stay closed.

I rarely post in this thread because - for me - it seems like a waste of energy.

But here I am. 6 a.m. I'm pissed because I've had 2 hours of sleep and my day will start in about 30 minutes. I'm not sure I'll be up for the challenge.

I feel like I'll be posting a lot in this thread today.

My refrigerator refused to work recently (far from the first time). Maintenance guy came, agreed it wasn't working, & commented I "need to put a lot of food in it". (Why fill a broken machine?!)

Relative came & put much of my stuff in their fridge, before taking me out to eat Lunch. While out, gets a call from Maintenance, complaining I locked my door, so they can't get in to do anything.

We come back, & my refrigerator has been re-positioned in my residence by someone other than us.

Never mind I have to work-out a schedule where I can be here if they need me to, but also do laundry & other things to be ready for another relative's athletic event I've promised to attend tonight.

My kids school. How can one organization be this inept! I so want to punch something and school just started. I need a strong drink.

How are the schools driving you nuts already?

I'm assuming by bus.

Speaking of which, went to my relative's athletic event Thursday night. I think they won (tied at worst), & I got to see my father, & all of this relative's siblings. In past seasons, we used to all go to a local place to eat after a win, & I'd thought we might do so tonight.

However, we didn't, nor did my transport home (whom I eat with almost daily) ask me about stopping to eat/get food on way home. When I entered apt. building, smell was instantly recognizable a neighbor had something from McD's... I thought again about why relative hadn't suggested we go eat after their child's game, & first excuse I thought of was school having started...

But this child is only one in its family in classes, & they are home-schooled, meaning it's basically parent's choice when they teach what.

Pissed off at my own body. And my lack of coping skills to deal with being bitterly envious of people who can do things that a year ago I could but now, no way, too much fainting (literally, black out' floor-slam out) at random.

Not really annoying, but I guess it belongs here.
Going back to the doc' in about 2 weeks because those blood tests for Wilson's may have been a false negative. I don't think I have got it since I'm certain all my muscle twitching and fatigue is just vitamin deficiency and not copper being deposited in my brain.

(Although if it is, I guess I could become a superhero?
Copperman! Able to withstand slightly more head trauma than a typical person)

And if they were actually correct and I don't have Wilson's or some other such ailment, then I'll probably be referred to a psychotherapist who'll say;
"Oh, you're a little depressed."
and I'll be like
"You don't say?"
and they'll give me lithium or something.

Probably means more blood tests though.
Pfft.
I dislike blood tests.

^^^ had to google Wilson's. Rare but treatable.

Copperman would be nifty. You'd be an awfully cool color.

Hope you find something to make you feel less Wilsony

I will draw your blood, Con.
I'm good at it.

You'll just feel a little prick...

(Sorry. It was right there. Hadda do it.)
