Sometimes I see things that make me sad, so I have to make up stories in my head so I feel better.
Once on craigslist, I saw that someone was selling a wedding dress. It said, "reason for selling, don't need it anymore." And there was a picture of her, wearing the dress. Not at a wedding or anything, but just like in her kitchen or something. She was smiling, but she looked sad too.
I thought about how sad it was. Why didn't she need the dress anymore? Did her groom dump her? Did he run off with another woman? Maybe he died? I started to like actually get sad thinking about it, so I made up a story. Maybe they won some contest for like a dream wedding. The couple, and all their guests would be flown first class to the Bahamas. And waiting for her there, would be the most perfect gown from some famous designer. But she'd already bought the other dress. She'd saved for a long time to get it. She loved that dress, but it just didn't go with a beach wedding. So she decided to sell it and hopefully some other bride would love it just as much. She was happy to get her dream wedding, but was still kind of sad she wouldn't be wearing her dress.
I mean, it's possible that happened, right?
