I don't think he was suggesting anyone be assassinated, just as I don't think Hillary was suggesting Obama be assassinated in 2008 when she gave as her reason for not dropping out of the race the fact RFK was assassinated.

He clearly meant what you said, and it's beyond reprehensible. Even if you somehow suspended reality, that a presidential candidate would repeatedly say things that need to be clarified by others shows he is not capable of holding the office.

But he didn't say that. And more to the point, if you watch the footage, that's obviously not what the audience -- the same people that have been yelling "Kill the bitch!" and "Lock her up!" at Trump's rallies -- thought that he meant.
