It's easy for me to be human here.
It's harder in real life because of the things I do.

Her funeral was this past Thursday and I think I only lasted ten minutes into the service.
It was then I thought I heard her telling me that it's okay to be human and that there's no weakness in it.
Being a man who was always trained to be the opposite, who wouldn't allow himself to....

The Azul you get here is the real me, not the one the world sees as much.

I always weep buckets at funerals, I can't seem to help it. But that's OK... I think maybe boys can be encouraged too much to be strong and not show or feel their emotions as girls do. I'm very glad to know you here, Azul :)

Have you had a good weekend? Any time at the pizza palace? (I'm always going to think of it as the pizza palace now :D)

I did my time there last night and Friday night.
Today, my daughter and wife go to see Suicide Squad while I have time with my son.

You won't drop him. You won't be alone in it. And you'll always know you performed that service for him. My stepson bore his grandfather, and 'pride' isn't exactly the right word, but ... well, you know.

Weird to wake so late, as I'd had a very lazy day yesterday. I knew my client's systems would be down first thing, though, so there was no rush to get to work! And as it turned out they've screwed up the maintenance they were doing big time, so no rush all day! :D

Are you back to normal routines now after your trip?

For the most part. I'm working in my classroom today to get things ready and such. Slowly trying to get back to the work mindset. School begins next week.
