Isolated Blurt Thread

You know these little solar-powered garden LED lights ?
I bought some new ones last week; these had NiMH batteries (more reliable).

Of the four, only one works . . . .
Blast !

Isolated blurts,please ignore...
I'm finding it difficult to be supportive right now. I'm sorry, I know that's selfish, I'll try to do better.
I do not understand why anyone would be "scared" of me. I am unfailingly kind to animals and small children.
I am tired of this track playing in my head from childhood that says "you'd be pretty if you just lost weight." I want it uninstalled.
This child is going to fall out of bed if she doesn't stop rolling over.

An interesting conundrum, Mags.

I am way ahead of schedule in my savings for moving to Florida next year. It will be nice to have a large nest egg when I finally hit the road.

Poor munchkin was having nightmares last night and they seem to be plaguing her again for a second night. :(

Update

On Monday morning I booked an appointment with my doctor today for a minor niggle about my nose.

But on Tuesday my physiotherapist told me that three moles on my back had changed since he last saw them five weeks ago.

Now my doctor has requested two hospital consultant appointments. They should happen within the next two weeks.

Both small things could indicate something much more serious - or not. Only the two specialists could tell whether they are something or nothing. Sods Law - both are probably going to be at the same time in hospitals fifty miles apart.

Dermatology Consultant says - nothing to worry about. It's keratin and can be squeezed out like a blackhead when they're ready (and lots more technical terminology) = you're getting ancient, you must expect things to start going wrong.

Ear Nose and Throat Consultant says - nothing to worry about. It's a benign growth which can be removed on a day surgery visit with a local anaesthetic.

Dermatology was right. The three moles were pushed off my back last night after contortions with a hand mirror and a back brush. They look scary in my hand but Wikipedia confirmed the consultant's diagnosis. Advice? If I get them again, wait a couple of weeks before pushing them off my skin again - repeat several times a year.

:rose: Glad to hear everything is so easily dealt with.

Mags: Tell munchkin to look up Monsters, Inc. or maybe a Terry Pratchtt novel (the one where Death's daughter is a schoolteacher).

On the good side, it seems that I've cracked the problem of driving my Bronica.
All I need now is something best photographed in monochrome. . .
