Would love to get you input on the dynamic between older women/younger men and older men/younger women. Since I was about 17, (when I was seduced for the first tine bty a remarkable woman in her 40's) I have dated older women. In my 20's I mostly dated and had relations with women in their 40's. It just felt right. Some of the best sexual experiences of my life. It wasn't so much that I sought older women, it was just that it felt right, we connected and it seemed natural.

Now that I am in my 40's I find myself very attracted toward women in their 20's and notice quite a few younger women flirting with me. I have changed over the years and now there is almost a paternal aspect in the way that I care and protect being a much different person than I was in my 20's. .

What do you think is the attraction between older women/younger men and older men/younger women?

There are a few things. On the shallow side, from the older perspective, younger people tend to be more toned, prettier, etc. It can be exciting to share knowledge with someone who is younger. It can be exciting to learn new things from someone with more experience.

Then there is also the taboo aspect. I dated a 20 year old for a bit... it was fun to snuggle up together as we were walking through a restaurant partly because it's "naughty" and partly because guys her age were like WTF?

I realize that there is a taboo that accompanies such relationships with an age differential, but why a taboo? If all parties are of legal age I see no reason not to follow one's lust, love, desires, pleasures, etc. Be honest, be caring, be safe, and realize that "You pays yo' money, yo takes yo chances." Life is short, suck it deeply.

I have had two intimate relationships with women young enough to be my daughter. Both were extremely satisfying. However, I have recently taken note of older women, and found that I am actually attracted to them more than the young 'uns. I think it's the self confidence thing. I agree. As long as both are adults, age doesn't matter. We all have our preferences, and I prefer younger women...

Generally they have more experience--they are patient enough to take the time to make a woman feel really good rather than wanting to race to the finish line.
