My latest effort is over 40K words, that's about 10 or so LIT pages or ONE LC preface/epilogue.

I don't wanna put it in the novella bin or make 8 episodes of it, but will Laurel let it stand alone at LW?

Don't see why not. Stangstar's shit mostly goes for that long and it's in LW.

No problem. I've had chapters of a sci-fi story go 11 lit pages. The complete work was over 110,000 character.

There are a lot of 25+ page lit stories on here. There is no limit and if you keep it interesting the reader will follow.

I'm not concerned about the length of anyone's stories on this site. Kinda like dick length, size only matters to those who are insecure. If you know how to be effective with what you have, then the size issue isn't gonna be a factor- quality over quantity in my book any day. The issue I have with longer stories is they tend to take too long to unfold and rarely grab my attention/ or hold it very long. Kant

This site has a squillion readers. Maybe a squillion-and-three. Some are good for a page or so. Others bitch if you wrap it up in under five pages. You know that more than most of us, James. Do whatever you want to do. (And let us know how it works out. )

You should have no problem posting a story of that length in LW.

Actually, you would get more complaints if you did it in episodes.

I read LW and can promise you that there are many stories that are as long or longer than what you are looking to post.
