Sounds like the most amazing way to spend an afternoon

Oh yes, it was fabulous. There are a couple more pictures to come...

How are you, Scout? Thought of you at the weekend as some friends were discussing their imminent trip to Portugal. If they can ever get out of Dover, that is - I think the exit port is pretty much grid-locked

I am well, thank you lovely! Enjoying summer concerts, festivals and all the fun to be had around here. Just saw Peter Gabriel and Sting this past weekend, it was amazing. Heading off next week for a girls trip, wine tours out in BC so I am excited about that.
I hope your friends are able to make it out! Yikes!

BC as in Canada? I loved BC when I skied there. Hoping to get to Whistler again next winter, but I'd love to see Canada in the summer too.

I need to get on with retiring so I can get on with travelling to all these wonderful places :D

Just poking my head in to say hi!

Hope you had a great weekend, (seems like it...;) ), and that all is well.

Yes, Kelowna, British Columbia..it's a gorgeous part of the country. If you need some help planning a Whistler trip, let me know! You may even plan to sneak over to my side of the Rockies, to Lake Louise or Sunshine;)

Hello!

Yes, it was lovely thank you, friends came over for a bike ride, then they stayed over and we barbecued. It was a beautiful evening, we sat outside til well after 10pm enjoying the scent of the honeysuckle and watching our bat colony coming and going from under the eaves of our roof.

Oh, and talking rubbish, of course, after a few bottles of wine :D

How was your weekend? Did you get out on the lake?

Thank you, I certainly will! :rose: I have been skiing in Lake Louise and Sunshine (and Norquay), stayed in Banff. I liked it, although I prefer the 'ski-in/ski-out' at Whistler, much less coach travel.

Kelowna, sounds lovely. What sort of wine will you be tasting? I'm very jealous... :D

Sounds nice and cool in your part of the world. Enjoy Numi!

The ski to your door aspect is lovely indeed.

Is all the wines a type? :D:)

Likely Quails Gate, Mission Hill and Summerhill...and some of the smaller ones as well hopefully

The best part is sipping Okanagan wine after skiing whistler on your patio beside the hot tub.

Liz!

Cooler than last week, but still skimpy clothes weather, which is nice.

You'll be pleased to hear that the cowgirl exercising is going fine, thank you again for the advice ;) Still not going to do reverse though, it just doesn't work. Not 'ouch', more like when you put flat pack furniture together and you try to put the wrong 'tab B' into 'slot A'

'All the wines'. Yes, I'm definitely having that next time I go to a wine-tasting

I'm not sure I've ever actually had wine from that area. What an omission, will have to rectify that. :)

Mmm, that sounds wonderful. Is that your neck of the woods too, Rawhide?

You two have got me all fired up to get this booked now. And a hot tub is going to be a must.

Just poking my head in

Yeah, as if you'd stop there

 Mr Sunshine, your tawdry mind... :D

I can't let that pass, though, without observing that the 'just poking the head in' is one of my very favourite bits... After a long build up, when my body is crying out for it, just the pressure at first, then the sliding in, slowly, slowly, widening around the corona, slipping further along...
