Any thread related to gun control or shootings draws the anti gun crowd like flies to cow manure. How many of you "Guns scare me so nobody should have one, except the army" have actually owned a gun, or fired one more than once?

Like most boys growing up back in the age of common sense, I was introduced to guns during a summer camp. It was a single shot, bolt action .22 and I had to demonstrate the safe handling before I was given a round to chamber.

While I always liked guns, I never saw the need to own one until later in life when I took up target shooting. That's when I rediscovered how much fun it was.

You forgot the that they almost always resort to excessive penis talk and name calling when challenged with facts or even just asked to explain their position on the subject.

You should post a pic of it sometime Lance

Whats fun is just telling anti gunners that shooting is just for fun

Yes this is true but I'm an optimist, well...sometimes, usually on Taco Tuesdays. Today is Tuesday isn't it?

Seriously I just want to see how many of them are going to come in here and lie their asses off. Lol.

I expect Sean to say he was on a Tank Killer
Rob to say he was a super duper Snyper ;)
Rory to say he was ...I have no idea what he'll say

I'm sure there will be lot's of Poo flinging though :D

I'm going on a Taco run but I'll Be Back.

Like most Canadian boys, I learned how to use a 22 long rifle in Boy Scouts.

Plinking is fun.

Me and the kids shot off about 700 rounds shooting skeet at the cabin last weekend...lots of fun

No, I was a radar tech. Standard issue was an smg, but you still had to do all the SLR, LMG and GPMG crap in basic.

I see, so you did your weapons qualifying on the Radar Range. Hot Dog!

No, SEE was after basic. You yanks must have a weird way of training your troops.

The words Hot Dog should have tipped you off. The rest is self explanatory.

The Raytheon Corporation produced the first commercial microwave oven in 1954; it was called the 1161 Radarange. It was large, expensive, and had a power of 1600 watts. The first domestic microwave oven was produced in 1967 by Amana (a division of Raytheon).
