For decades, fellow officers have refused to reign in racists within police departments - racists who have the power to take lives.

For decades, people have refused to reign in racists within the Republican party, or put their racist voters in check.

Result: dead police officers in multiple states, and a bigot taking over - and effectively destroying - that party.

Make no mistake: this is your fault, those of you who've tacitly accepted racism from others who validate your worldview, or vote for the same people you do. Every time you let their bigotry slide as a "joke", encouraged it, conveniently looked the other way, or otherwise refused to address it, you fueled the fire.

These deaths and The Donald are bad results. Bad people are committing these murders, and he is a bad man. But you "gigglers" - yours is the mindset which gave them purpose. Fact.

What about the newssites that engaged in inflammatory rhetoric and in slandering police officers, even if it was obvious that they:
a) either acted in self-defense
b)or they shot the person -obviously in fear for their own lives- when they disobeyed the order and reached for their pockets or glove compartments?

Both sides should be held accountable, instead of dodging responsibility and pointing fingers.

Nope. I think they are completely standard edition righties. They aren't trying to drag us backwards in anyway shape or form. They are fighting to maintain the status quo and their way of life. It is not something I agree with but it is not regressive.

And the left here is fighting to move forward and fix this racism. Some are wildly out of control, but then again I think you are supposed to work within the system until there are absolutely no other options. When I live in a country that claims I have a right to defend myself, specifically against a tyrannical government and study after study after study comes out showing that the police ARE problematic and nothing changes I have a hard time being but so upset. But regardless that isn't taking us back to a time in the past either.

Those scenarios were considered to be implausible, given that women are natural nurturers - yet women hold such power over their vulnerable children.
