Well, I don't have any funny "restaurant quips" that come to mind at the moment....but I do have an interesting fast-food chain story that might lead you all to start eating at home...

I won't mention the name of the restaurant lest I be sued, given, after 10 years or so, I can't prove that it happened...but I swear, it happened.

A friend and I stopped at a popular fast-food restaurant and ordered our food....got our drinks and sat down to wait for our sandwiches to be made.

I took a couple of sips from my drink then excused myself to go to the ladies room to wash my hands before the food arrived. (we had been shopping at a few stores beforehand and I'm a maniac about keeping my hands clean).

While I stood at the sink in the ladies room washing my hands with the antibacterial soap offered for washing, I looked over toward the commode....

Sitting on the floor right next to the commode was a plunger...not a big deal in the grand scheme of things....

BUT...written in large black magic marker up along the wooden handle read....


"FOR ICE MACHINE ONLY". Puke.

Then I noticed her snap her head in my direction with a puzzled look. I asked her what was wrong. She started to laugh and said I said "That will be your blowjob for the day."
