I read Muffins reply and although useful, it's not what I need. I tried over 20 Volunteer Editors and received no replies. I need some one who can teach me how to write correctly. I'm very smart just not by the book. If I find someone interested to this point, I will then explain in more detail my problems. My biggest downfall though is writing dialogue! I have 10 stories I am proud of and would like to get published. After these 10 are corrected, I would hope I've learned enough to write better naturally.

Yeah that post is outdated and the Volunteer editor service is pretty messed up.
here is the link for the editors forum. Start a thread there and mention the category and how long the story is.
There's also a thread there for people who are available to edit so you can try contacting them as well.

You are right, teaching you how to write is different from editing your writing. I would be glad to give you some help, but I would need to see examples of your writing so that I could see where you need help. If you would turn on your messages then we could exchange some information.

BTW - I'm not asking for writing lessons per se. Just seeing how you salvage my stories should be enough to teach me how to do it correctly.
