Sweet (red) Vermouth? Carpano Antica if you want to splurge. It makes the best manhattans and negroni's in my opinion. I usually buy a mid-priced brand like Dolin for day to day drinking and my dry (white) vermouth needs.

Then it's dry that you need. Go with Dolin or Noilly Pratt, go light on the vermouth too, a whiff of it is all you want IMO.
