For $50,000 do you think you could drive cross-country in a car that does not have any doors?
 
Fuck yeah! I drove from Cleveland to WI in one with no top or doors one time when I was moving there. For $50,000 I'd....hell, I'd drive around the world in one with no doors.

Would you have one of the missing door strapped to your back, and if so, what sort of padding would be provided between the door and your shoulder blades?
 
What about rain, snow, wind, and other weather hazards?

Most early Model T Fords were open cars. They might have had doors but the canvas roof wasn't much use in heavy rain.

Motorcyclists drive cross-country without needing doors or shelter from the weather except their clothing.
 
I drove a jeep in Korea with no doors or top. Got damn cold in the wintertime.
