'I'm reviewing the situation
Can a fellow be a villain all his life?
All the trials and tribulations!
Better settle down and get myself a wife.
And a wife would cook and sew for me,
And come for me, and go for me,
And go for me, and nag at me,
The fingers, she would wag at me.
The money she would take from me.
A misery, she'd make from me...

...I think I'd better think it out again!'

Shall we just call you Fagin from now on?

Apparently I can no longer take decongestants. Yay for allergy season.

How about guaifenesin? It might help.

thankyou, girls

she died peacefully in her sleep, well-medicated and pain-free, through complications of pneumonia. mostly blind, half deaf and bed-ridden, this lady loved being up and about and lived for her books and gardening. boredom was killing her slowly and this wasn't her first battle with pneumonia. she knew she was going and didn''t want to continue the battle. she was in labour with me all through her 26th birthday and gave birth to me an hour and a half into the next day. she lived and loved, and gifted me her love of books.

thanks, lovelies :rose: i'm off out now to take care of a few things then coming home to sit quietly and write to my sisters, and do as mum requested - that we toast her with a cup of tea and a nice biscuit. my oldest sister, who mum lived with, is sorting things her end to my mum's requests. very low key, no fuss.

had you spoken to or seen her recently?
hopefully you had the opportunity to say your goodbyes

I could probably just communicate in hand gestures today - I would likely piss off less people that way.

R.I.P Mum

I'm so sorry. :rose:

You euthanized your mother?

Wow, your son shuffled off to government assisted living, now this...you really are tying up the loose ends.

Harry wants to hope he doesn't bore you.
