Has this place really changed or have you? This place is only as good as you make it because you are actually "it.” When you have a minute, I challenge you to scroll back into the past. It isn't hard to do. Simply click on page 51 in the upper righthand corner. If you do, you’ll be transported to September of 2015. Click on page 101 and you'll be in October of 2014. You'll see, there amongst the forgotten and closed threads, there were people with Alts. There were trolls and weirdos. Women were still getting unsolicited PMs from guys that lack the ability to construct meaningful written communications.
If you take my challenge, you will soon start to recognize all of the names you once witnessed here. Possibly even the ones that made it special for you. You'll wonder where they've gone. You'll wonder why they left. Probably for the same reasons you are contemplating it.
I'm not saying things haven't changed here. I'm sure they have, but I think the most significant change has happened within you. Perhaps you avoid threads or people because of some previous altercation. Maybe you were hurt by someone or someone ignored you. Maybe you've apologized to someone and never received a response. I submit that, perhaps, it's your perspective that has changed based on your experience. It's just a thought.
This place can be cruel and the boarders close in quickly if you aren't careful.
