I don't know much about him, but what I do know he's not a real libertarian. He's a contemporary, I hate morals and family values but I don't like paying taxes type. And Weld is totally not a libertarian at all, just a complete jerk.

Real libertarianism was/is a simple ideology that is basically neutral on most values issues. Its been distorted into some militantly anti-moral movement which is not what the ideology is primarily about.

Real libertarianism simply says that there should be no government other than one that maintains order and protects people from violence and property crime. Its not "anti-moral" in the sense that its moral neutral. People can do whatever they want, but there will be NO government programs to help clean up the mess they make of their lives in doing so. For example, you have sex with a bunch of people and get an STD, you pay for your own doctor visit or simply live with the consequences. Same with drugs, you take drugs you live with the negative consequences, no drug treatment programs, no efforts to help people who've screwed up their lives due to their behavior.

In that sense, its actually against immoral personal behavior more than in favor of it.

My core epistemology is results, not intentions. So I adjudicate psychotics as those who get unintended results or consequences. That is, acting as if boys can be girls is psychotic, because the intended results can never happen, the intended outcome can never be demonstrated. Much of my early training was precision mathematics, especially descriptive geometry. Its right or it aint. Its where I learned the real meaning of tolerance, the sufferance of deviation from the perfect. The tolerant always hold perfect standards but don't demand perfection. Theyre undisciplined.
