What about the Colorado theater?

Even on semi-auto you can get a lot of rounds off quickly in first few minutes if not seconds. 30 rounds could mean 30 down and screaming in 30 seconds. That gets most heading for exits. Then you can reload and go after small groups that are cut off or trying to hide.

To charge a man with a assault rifle, unarmed. You would want at least 20 full grown adult males with you. Might take 60 seconds to collect enough men.

When shooting starts you either run or get behind cover. Then you make or execute a plan.

I am a great swimmer but am terrified of drowning...think maybe it's a past life thing.

I'm more terrified of sharks, bears, dogs...heights.

They had herded in there, locked the door and thought they were safe.

The shooter came in here...finding the door to the larger "disabled" stall locked...several people were in there trying to hide...terrified.

The witness said that when the shooter couldn't unlock and open the door, he reached over with his gun and started indiscriminately shooting.
