The Red Sox honored the 1986 World series team last night. Why? I have no idea, they were the perpetrators of one of the biggest chokes in World series history.
The most infamous moment was Bill Buckner letting a ground ball roll between his legs for the winning run in game six.
In the other games Buckner was pulled for defensive purposes late in the games. The manager left him on the field for this one so he could celebrate
What if he had pulled him as he always had used to be asked quite a bit.
Those things always get me thinking of other 'what if' moments.
