something must be in flippin' retrograde given my day

and to cap it all, i was just fitting the new toilet seat when one of the threaded bolts snapped clean in half! i now have a half attached toilet seat.

Jennifer is at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter today.

I am so fucking jealous.

Yes, I have some prescription supplements too. I feel not on a tight rope, because I feel well monitored. Also right now I feel things are going well!

I am relatively new to this level of medication.
Things keep getting added every 2-4 weeks, either new amounts or new meds.
The idea is to get me stabilized or into remission and then hopefully taper me back to a minimal amount or only as needed.
Fingers crossed! I do feel much better about 2/3rd of the time now, but that 1/3 can still be scary.

Thanks, I find it somewhat amusing. I am now up to 11-12 medications/day, 7 of which are OTC, of those 3 are considered supplements. No bad side effects so far.
I still feel a bit like I am walking a tightrope but now there is more of a net underneath me.:)
glad they're working it all out for you, noor - and if you're gonna tightrope walk, don't forget to twirl your sumbrella! :rose:

seems you're getting a decent level of attention to your meds/levels. you're such a strong person, but if you need a hand to hold when it gets scary there are plenty of us here for you :rose::rose:

Kevlar bead folding tires are an option.

How old was the tire on the Peugeot that needed replacement?

I'll have to do an internet search on "Kevlar bead folding tires."

The Peugeot died and was buried three years ago. That thirty-year old warhorse did great service, was a great bargain and I still mourn the loss.

The offending tire was purchased last September as a replacement for yet another blown tire. In its defense, I will say that it got me through the C&O Canal Tow Path/Great Allegheny Passage with no flats (which was somewhat remarkable). It had roughly 1,550 mostly rail trail (of varying quality) miles on it.

The new tire is a Michelin ( much to my surprise as I didn't know that Michelin was in the bicycle tire business). Now I've Michelins on my automobile and on my bicycle.

Thanks! I try not to forget ;)

Yep, I have the top doctor in the field and I trust him.

I will keep the hand holding options in mind :rose:

It's really good you are on a good tight for time regime, the nature of your difficulty considered. :rose:

I think everyone aspires to be off their drugs and Say good bye to their doctors!

I don't know how many you take at one time, but it can be challenging at first, you get used to it. Because my memory is can be impacted I get mine in a 'dosset box' already put for me in the right time and day slots. It feels like a lot of packaging, but it does help..

Its funny, I get preferences for some pills and not others. I find hearing capsules rattling in my throat as they go down a little amusing sometimes, and some of my pills smell stale. I like the potassium supplement I take, it's fresh tasting.

It's the eating not eating schedule that is driving me nuts. I can't eat for 90-2hrs before taking it depending on what I ate, then I wait 20-30 minutes to eat after taking it, I do this one 4 times a day and it's not a pill, it's a vial you must mix with water. then there are the rest of them ;)

They need an app for "you have missed your 8am dose because you woke up late, here is how to get back on track without staying up to 3am."

Other people get this down so I imagine evenly I will.

Hopefully the thunderstorms will hold off, and my event can go on as planned this evening. The last thing I am time for is a reschedule.

My neighbor, Ned, went in for my first thorough checkup in a few years. After exhaustive tests, the Doctor said he was doing "fairly well" for his age.

A little concerned about that comment, he asked "Do you think I'll live to be 80?"

The Doctor answered a question with a question: "Do you smoke or drink?"

"Oh no!" Ned replied. "I'm not doing drugs, either!"

Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, sailing, hiking, or bicycling?"

"No, I don't," said Ned.

The Doc asked, "Do you drive fast or have a lot of sex?"

"No." said Ned.

Then he asked, "Do you eat rare meat or smoked pork?"

"No, my wife says that all meat is unhealthy!"

The Doctor looked at Ned and asked one last question "Then, why the heck do you want to live to 80?"

It's always the "friend" or "neighbor". :D

It went from rainy and chilly to 85 and steamy today.

I think mother nature may be confused.
