If they're worried about the safety of transsexuals who are "pre-hormonal treatment" (so to speak) and still look like males,
- why doesn't Target build a separate cubicle that is less visible to the other customers (so that they also don't end up being identified by anyone)?
- instead of putting female adults and children at risk, by allowing poorly screened access of males into female toilets?

And don't tell me that some sexual predators or paedophiles wouldn't think of taking advantage of this golden opportunity: either to peep or to corner their hakf-naked prey into an enclosed space that offers a poor escape route when the bathroom is empty or unattended,

Because target is more concerned about keeping the Liberal shopper happy than keeping the more conservative shopper coming in to shop. They care about what the social justice media will say about them, not who they offend. If they have to lose 10,000 shoppers for that one in a million shopper that might actually visit their store, then that is a calculation that they can live with (and they can save money by cutting employee hours thusly keeping the profit margin exactly the same as it was).
