It's a Bank Holiday weekend. I had some ancient maps to deliver to a Museum so I arrived there almost as soon as they opened. As I was driving back the traffic going the other way was building with a two-mile queue.

I parked alongside my house as cars were parking along the sea front road. That road will be completely parked up within half an hour and will stay that way until about 6pm.

Why? Because it is free seaside parking all day.

I stay at home on Bank Holiday weekends and watch the grockles.

I received my Blue Badge this morning.

Just don't behave like our local Blue Badge holders do. They think streets closed to traffic, only for pedestrians - don't apply to them, nor do any yellow lines, single, double or even double with no waiting restrictions.

The worst are outside our seafront Bingo hall. They are on a double yellow line all afternoon, forcing other traffic to be alternate single track.

A Blue Badge seems to be a license to ignore one-way signs too. Local drivers and pedestrians always look both ways in one-way streets. Tourists don't.

My new teeth, fitted today, do actually fit. This is the fourth set I've had and the previous three were useless.

(And all four sets were privately paid for, not National Health!)

The user reported the system upgrade sticky thread on top and said it was "off-topic". The same user reported her again, a few minutes later, to say she's not getting response from her (Laurel) regarding her off-topic thread.
