Ok so, yesterday I was out playing on the river, but play quickly became work. We had a swimmer who lost his boat. We had to really work to get him in a stable position and then get him back down to his boat. This series of pics shows my hands at work in rescuing the swimmer. This first shot I am talking to the swimmer to let him know I am going to throw him a rope to pull him over to me and get him away from the log he was holding on to. (Wood on rivers is extremely dangerous)

Next shot is of my hands getting ready to toss to him to pull him to me.

Next I have the rope to him and am about to pull him to me.

Now he is on the little rock island that I am on and we are in a stable position, so I can now work on a plan to get him reunited with his boat. The easiest thing would be a short swim to where I have another buddy set up on a rock just down stream. But he was not so inclined so I had to formulate the extraction process.

Got him lowered to the next rock below me, right at the ledge he didn't want to have to swim over.

Now I am loading my boat to get to the next island where his boat is to get him reunited with his boat.

Paddling down to the next island below the ledge.

After successfully getting the swimmer rescued and reunited with his boat, it's time to empty mine. I filled it up pretty good getting out the last time.

Wow, Jason. Thanks for sharing the great adventure. These are wonderful. You told the story well.:rose:

Thanks. There were a lot more pics. It took us about an hour to go from swimming to back in the boat and paddling to the take out.

That guy was lucky you were around, with the knowledge and skills to manage a rescue.

Wile not sexual or even suggestive this image is still ever so sensual.

I'm so glad you think so.

.....

Thanks, Tali. I'm glad to see you here. I hope you get in a photography mood soon.

Hand to leg eye transference. :D

It's good to exercise the eyes!
