No. I will vote for the candidate for whom the vote has the most meaning. A vote for Hillary or Trump has no meaning. They are the same vote, just different sides of the coin.

Think of a vote for Johnson as a vote for a non-"Republicrat" so we can have a populist candidate in 2020.

Play the long game and don't be so short sighted.

My preference is Bernie from the current crop.

Was going to bump this after California, but watching Hillary blow Wall Street tonight has motivated me.

The 2016 Libertarian Party National Presidential Nominating Convention will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel & Resort in Orlando Florida from May 27 to 30th.

I am guessing that they will nominate Gary Johnson but who knows in this crazy election year?

One of the biggest threats to the Libertarian movement has been not taking the time and effort to get on the state ballots. Trust they'll take enough personal responsibility and effort this time around to actually do that in most of the states.

If, as seems likely, Trump and Hilly are the major party candidates, I intend to vote for Gary Johnson in Nov. If nothing else, it's to vote against the other two, who are the worst pair of candidates in my lifetime. This has been my intention ever since Trump started pulling ahead. I might be wasting my vote, but I would rather waste it that way than on one of the two disasters opposing him.

How on Earth can you say that. I agree with everything listed, although I don't know how he stands on AB or SSM or the 2nd Amendment. At one time, "Progressive" was a respectable designation, until Liberals distorted it.

I've watched about five LP debates, and Gary along with all of the candidates really, come off as progressives that would be better placed in the Democratic Party.

Some are soft on foreign surveillance, some believe in the "gender wage gap", some believe in reparations for blacks and American Indians, some support abortion, some support making it illegal for a business to discriminate and in effect support slavery, and the list goes on.

They believe that a Jew should be legally forced to bake a wedding cake for a Nazi, or a black should bake a cake for a Grand Wizard, that is unAmerican.

These are not the views and beliefs that represent libertarianism.

I like some of the things that Perry says, some of the things Reid says, some of the things Peterson or McAffee say, but they all fall short of being a proper LP candidate.

Ron Paul was much closer to being a libertarian and I wish he was running for the LP, because if it's Bernie vs. Trump in November I think the LP has a real chance of winning this year.
