I can hear the conversation now as I call the cops for a wellness check.

I did that once for a guy on a mailing list. Found his address and everything for them. They were kind of surprised, but they went out and found him, he was hooking up his car for CO, they took him to hospital for eval also took care of his kitty until he got out. Small town cops without the internet, it was weird.
The guy is still around, doesn't hate me and is doing well.

He used his real name and I knew roughly what area of the country he was in.
He had been posting kind of ominous stuff for a few days and then announced he had a solution and posted goodbye to us.

I wasn't the only one who called but I was the first one and the only one with an address, actually I had two, they tried both with two different squads.
