Yes, it's just a cold. I cannot take cold medicine right now, which is mildly annoying. More annoying is I both cannot and won 't take hot toddies. I think nothing helps cold like the elixir of honey, lemon and hot whisky. ( plus chicken soup between times!)

Milk chocolate is good for sore throats, but I don't eat that right now either :eek:

Ginger tea is poor substitute but I am sure my body and soul will eventually thank me for it. My sense of humour mind you....

I'm not the one that ruin my noodles.

Besides, once noodles turn to starch paste, not much is going to help the flavor.

At the moment I go for a medical appointment weekly. I am pretty sure this is overkill on the part of my medical team, ( it was upped from monthly In response from a blood test result that I am pretty sure we have rectified with med changes ) but I am very grateful for the care. To day is appointment day. I am almost ready to go having fed animals, got clean, slapped on some make up, and just about to iron clothes which I wear there before undressing for a check up....:)

But today we have REAL sickness in the house. poor Gianbattista has a nasty cold, and has stayed home an extra day from work and is tucked up in bed. I am not so secretly delighted, apart from the fact I have caught the cold too. I love extra days. :).

colds can be uber sucky. just because they're not dangerous, they still can make you feel like roadkill. hope you and G feel better asap, Elle :rose::rose:

I am going to start a small Kickstarter campaign to raise a few dollars, in order to develop an app.

The app will allow the user to discreetly remove Mr. Jones, by The Counting Crows from any karaoke machine within 50 yards, without harming the equipment or song library.

Clumps of snow are falling out of the sky, accompanied by various random sizes of hail.
 
This coffee is making my teeth itch. We have tried so many different kinds in our office.
