well this honey jalapeño chicken was a wash. /sigh
Bought ready made or cooked it yourself from a recipe?
Made myself, not a recipe. just experiments with simple syrups. Worked well with turkey bacon, not so well with drumsticks.
Have you had any luck with stuffed jalapeno pepper poppers? They're great with cheese but even better with combination cheese and chicken or pork stuffing's. Beef and venison works but isn't as good at taking on all of the flavors.
That wasn't the point of the experiment, but jalapeño poppers are pretty easy to make.

Yes, I can make them.![]()
You always surprise me when I least expect it. I love jalapeño poppers but mine rarely turn out as well as those from a restaurant or caterer.
Mine are much better than what you can buy at the store or restaurant. At least to me.![]()
That's just it.
Tnman and myself are thought of as the nice guys.
Both of us scored high as Doms.
Just funny I guess.
By the way, just call me Azul.
Glad to meet you.![]()
That's good to know. When Dark Simian moves in next door you can find out how spicy he can take it with his food dishes.
I like spicy food but not so spicy I can't taste the combined flavors. Have you tried cooking with ghost peppers? I used to grow jalapeño and Thai peppers but the Thai peppers were pretty hot. I need to get back into gardening.

I know some serious grill masters who have had more flops then successes with creating or recreating a recipe or particular food dish. The good ones kept on trying until they got it. You're a persistent kind of guy so I believe you'll get where your going on the chicken dish you've described.

I keep mine simple, jalapeño, cream cheese, and turkey bacon.
I add cheddar cheese in mine, but I do add bacon. It's yummy.

That's actually super interesting, Ti. I might have to take that. I'm curious now.
I'm not surprised you scored high on the submissive one. I'm a little bit on the dominant side, though nothing really kinky or anything like that, but I think every woman I've ever considered a friend or someone I get along with well is on the submissive side. I think our personalities assert ourselves in ways we don't even recognize and we pick up on subtle signals.
