She is fortunate. The Addicks reservoir has swamped a four square mile patch of Houston, right between me and downtown Houston, and the Corps of Engineers say they can only drain it one percent a day to avoid flooding downtown. Net result: six weeks of a ten mile detour to go downtown.

Ack....that sounds painful. Houston's traffic is already a pain. I hope that time flies for you and that things get back to normal soon 💞

I Love Minnesota in the summer. It's one of the most beautiful states with all of your outdoor activities, beautiful lakes and trees. My sister, on the other hand, (not the one you know from IG -the other one) does not share my love for the outdoors and activity. I'd not invite her. But I Would invite my FUN sister. 💖

I only have one sister and she's definitely fun.
 
yesterday i found my computer for two hundred dollars more than i paid for it at sam's club. that made me happy. it's always nice to learn you didn't get screwed.

knock on wood, of course.

still, no roller ball mouse. why the hell are those things so hard to find? i mean, it's not vital and i of course could totally get one on online, but i like real world shopping, damnit. i want my instant gratification, you bastards.
 
also, anyone know if open office is still any good? i haven't used the fucker in ages and my niece wants office and i don't want her to spend a hundred bucks on something if the free version is good enough.

Some are very well "acted". I'll listen to anything Stephen Lang reads.

There are others too that are well done. Not all authors should read their books.

I have a track ball and a mouse. The ball is the size of a standard pool ball and about the same weight. Great for a desk set-up.
