The Isolated Blurt Thread XXVI: Spring Forward

I find spontaneous dishwashing an incredible turn on. I hate doing dishes!

When I was young and involved in organisations for younger people, I found that helping with the washing up was the easiest way to meet young women. Helping with the catering had an even higher success rate.

Sometimes I met their mothers but that was nearly as useful. A young man who can wash up earned credit with Mom and had a better chance of parental approval for a date with their daughter.

Of course, sometimes Mom liked me, and daughter didn't. I couldn't win them all. :D

I should have had them mark exactly where the fence posts are going to go. The sounds of the post hole digger coming from my garden is making me nervous.

It seems as though there is a mass mailing of spam, every Spring.
At least they pretended the spam bot had a name.

I am guessing a spam bot does not know the difference between women's skates and men's skates.

I have been waiting for my fencers for almost four months. This morning my geese have been out on the road twice. The first time I was slumming around the house in a nightie, when cars started hooting, and luckily my neighbouring farmer drove up and saved me ( or rather poor onlooking drivers) from me running round barely dressed in the cold rain.

They get from my up fenced bit ( weather, and G has reerected it several times but it needs new posts now ) into his bit, which he doesn't mind at all, some of his birds visit me too, and he often invites my terrier over to work...., but the problem is he has some fencing down too, because of a driver going into it this week.

I have shoved the geese in a different place now, but not happy about it as I saw a fox there two days ago. :(.

Fencers round here are just so busy because the weather has been horrid for solid/ garden fences since before Christmas.

I hope the geese fair well.

I'm getting fencing to keep the dog and the new pup in. The only thing I really have to worry about around here are the rabbits. Although people have seen wolves, foxes and bears in the city not too far from our house.

It's funny, My dogs do not go through the gap in the fence at all, but little man dog WILL climb over the five bar gate in the same area. ( it's all wired up to keep him in, but he climbs it using his claws like little ice picks )

G is suggesting a puppy. He thinks it will be a nice gift to our sick girl, who loves puppies. I just feel like it's another thing to take care of at the moment.. Because we are already feeding the girl dog multiple times a day G is saying it makes it the ideal time to have a puppy, as we are already in the feeding schedule...

I should not have looked. :( There goes a bunch of bleeding hearts. I hope it wasn't the white ones. I won't have anytime to relocate them or save the one in the walkway until tomorrow.

Yeah, I hear that.

Our new pup will have to wait until my travel schedule slows some.

The climbing dog is hysterical. I hope a 4 foot fence is enough to keep the husky mutt in. The husky part of her definitely suffers from wanderlust, plus she's a digger. We shall see.

Are you getting a privacy fence? One of my huskies could climb chain link, the other dug under. Be prepared fill holes from time to time.

Changing subject...is Pip completely better now?

Yes he's back to normal. He goes out a lot now, loves running round the garden chasing bees and birds. Him and Ruby get along better now he's had his pom poms removed.

He's turning into a really handsome cat.

Is there no limit to eyer's grandiosity? WalksOnWater? Fvck!

My ignore list seems to have added his latest incarnation without any need for intervention from me.

Edited to add: No it didn't. He was posting on a thread started by himself as he previous alt, so the thread didn't appear.

My ignore list has reached three - two of them Eeyore.
