I only realized later that it might create a misunderstanding about the concept of the thread.

It's been claimed that many British men are of Viking descent.

Hence my post of northern favourites of mine. It was called the Danelaw back then. Northerners have a strong streak of Viking in their blood as opposed to the southerners who are Germans and French.

I was there in late July a few years ago, and that was a lovely time to be there. A light sweater was all that was needed, though we were told it was particularly nice weather that weekend. We were only there for a couple of days, so didn't do anything outside of Reykjavik. Had a good time, and I'd like to go again.

I don't buy them new. The depreciation, like most expensive cars, is massive in the first year. But Volvos, particularly the large estates, retain value for decades.
