In truth, Sir, there is a little more to it. You are definitely cherry picking, and repeating uncritically what you have been spoon fed (a common characteristic among followers of Islam and their defenders, I would suggest).

While taqiyya is more closely associated with Shia and Sunni Islam, its practice and theological justification is very much part of Sunni Islam. Here, for example, from Reliance of the Traveler, the classic Sunni manual,

Reliance of the Traveler (p. 746 - 8.2) - "Speaking is a means to achieve objectives. If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish through lying because there is no need for it. When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible (N:i.e. when the purpose of lying is to circumvent someone who is preventing one from doing something permissible), and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory... it is religiously precautionary in all cases to employ words that give a misleading impression..."

As for kosher slaughter being "almost identical" to halal, that is simply a despicable lie. In kosher slaughter, an animal is dispatched with a sharp knife to the neck, and the poor animal is dispatched promptly. In halal, the animal must "bleed out", for hours in agony. Despite Islam's roots in Judaism and Christianity (roots that many Moslem clerics would vehemently deny), I do not believe that Muslims worship "the same God" I do. They do not worship God at all.
