I just deleted 3 Max Allan Collins books from my Kindle. His books of 50 years ago are great, and these recent ones are politically correct crap featuring casts with all the right sexual, racial, and ethnic players. The black, lesbian, widow pushed me over the cliff. Its too much.

My mother was as smart as people come, and a popular leader of men, but she was 5-2 and struggled opening jars of peanut butter. My old man was 6-4 and had no problems with stubborn jars. He once got naked and jumped into a pond fulla alligators. I screamed at his madness but he assured me he wouldn't hurt them, and they ignored each other. He's the one who joined the Marines when he was 13, and was a combat veteran and 15 the day the war ended in 1945. My mom sat out the war. Women don't do shit like run off to combat or swim with alligators.

Collins made me draw a line in the sand. No amazons of any stripe. I'm done with him. In his books of the 60s girls look like Dolly Parton and spend the whole book on their backs, fucking.

At the mental hospital the cops brought in violent drunk-high people every shift. I was taught a kinda-sorta martial art I used every day. Plenty of the women were violent and required restraint. On the floor a female has great strength in her legs and pelvic area, but nothing above her waist. You restrain them from the neck, down.

And female staff are worthless when confronting violent males. Many times I walked in the door and saw 10 gals pleading with an asshole to be nice as I, alone, marched his ass to the restraint room. On one occasion I took a knife away from a guy, and put him in restraints as the SWAT team stood outside watching me, then got pissed when I called them sissies.

If a lady hands you a jar to open for her, you proudly swipe that jar out of her hand, pop that sucker open, and boost about your victory over the jar for hours don't you? What would we do without you? Use a towel while opening the jar to gain some friction, pop the seal by tapping the jar against the edge of a counter, use one of the countless kitchen gadgets designed for that purpose etc. Size/strength is not needed to complete every task in life. We allow you such trivial victories to fluff your ego, and make you feel better about yourself as a way to keep you complacent and docile.

As for nurses needing to restrain patients...why would they engage if a foolhardy ass was willing to put himself in danger so they didn't have to?

Now, for the Freudian way in which you idolize a fantastical version your father; you may wish to explore those inner demons on your own before suggesting you have the ability to help others with theirs.
