HRC? Old, beaten down, stale, Boring , uninspiring, Same old/same old from 20 years ago?
BS? Crazy old white man who fits the stereotype of whom liberals say the world would be better off when they're gone?
Neither has done much in the private sector, The Bern man, especially.

Yep.

BS? Crazy old white man who fits the stereotype of whom liberals say the world would be better off when they're gone?

He's not crazy....the Reaganites who think that trickle is going to come any day now are crazy.

He's not a Republican so no he doesn't fit the stereotype.

So?

Trickle down might work under the right conditions, but we probably will never have those conditions because people are too greedy and there's no one out there who can inspire us to not be greedy. Every once in awhile, you see an instance where it works, but it's statistically insignificant.
BS seems crazy to me. I think his economic philosophy is as crazy as trickle-down.
As far as doing nothing in the real world, these candidates have no clue what we go through. The risks we take, the hurdles we have to overcome. They sit back and the money roles in. They treat the population as an absolutely unlimited source of revenue.
Having these people in charge of our economy is analogous to having a priest give you marriage advice. They are clueless.

That's exactly what some people say about communism.

Like the blue squirrel said, just like communism.

It's a fucking fantasy, the trickle down is NEVER going to show up. The only way that wealth is going to get circulating again is if the US gov takes it from them and starts spending it for them.

Why? It's working better for a number of nations.

Fuck they work here, NASA = socialism....West Point one of the best academic universities on the PLANET...100% socialism not to mention proof socialism and capitalism can exist in the same economic realm with good results.

HC is laughable even with ACA. I mean COMPLETE fucking rip off...UHC would be far better and cheaper way to manage the situation.

What is so insane about it that we must we re-invent the fuckin' wheel?

No it's like a marriage counselor giving you marriage advice and you don't have to be married to understand and objectively analyze.

Point being doing something in the private sector doesn't mean shit for being a good public servant/elected official. Hell working at the DMV or doing 2 years in the Army as a PVT CoffeeBitch would be better prep for office than the private sector.

Under what circumstances will it work? If you can answer that you are at odds with every leading economist in the world today. The only possible way it could work is if you put a maximum value on the wealth of any one person. However since that would be impossible to enforce, we can comfortably say it can never work.

I may be wrong but I thought that he was advocating Keynsian Theory. In which case it has been proven to work. Indeed FDR used it in the USA.
